Tool geometry
The well-designed machine structure also includes the "G" tool geometry, which provides a clearance of 269° between the clamping tool and the bending tool at the front of the machine. The bending tool, which is inclined by 37°, allows the produc-tion of dimensionally accurate 90° hat profiles. The bending tools, which can be retracted by 290 mm, create the maximum amount of space in front of the machine: This allows profiles to be produced without turning and rotating in an above-average variety of profiles. The clamping tool, positioned at a 38° angle, allows for a large internal space so that pre-bent profiles can be positioned as close as possible to the clamping point.
Machine safety
The basic equipment of the JDB is supplemented by a sophisticated safety system. Maximum safety is guaranteed at all times without restricting daily work with the machine, even when processing corrugated material.
Individual machine equipment
The modular mechanical design of the Jorns JDB double bending machine provides the basis for customized equipment. The customer defines the length from 3.2 to 12.2 m, the bending capacity up to a maximum of 3 mm sheet steel, the stop system, the type of shears, and other options to be used.
Complex JC100 graphics control – easy to use
The JC100 graphics control is part of the basic equipment. It is the heart of the machine and brings the fully automatic ma-chine to life with all its inherent complexity. At the same time, it is extremely easy to operate: intuitive, as they say today.
Multi-nesting function: one of the innovative additional functions
There is also the innovative multi-nesting function. With multi-nesting, multiple pluggable profiles can be calculated automat-ically based on the plugging direction, overlap depth, and conicity of the overall profile.
